I'll start with saying I do really like this blend though it's far from a favorite. Then I'am going to say what I think about Bud. Budweiser is a perfectly fine beer though there is zero interesting about it. It taste like beer in the most generic and inoffensive way imaginable. While it's not bad I won't buy it unless I want beer and there are no other options or it's the only reasonably priced beer at a bar. That's almost precisely how I feel about Sail Yellow. It tastes like pipe tobacco and there is zero offensive about it but at the same time nothing particularly interesting either. It's inoffensively sweet and taste like tobacco with every rough edge as well as interesting nuance polished out. For me that makes it a good pack it smoke it and forget it. It's a great blend for when I want to split my attention. For example I am not going to write and smoke one of my favorite blends, because it would divide my attention. Now something like Sail I can smoke and play a video game or do yard work and still enjoy it but not have to worry about what I'am missing either way. At the end of the day it's not bad or particularly good but it's inoffensively generic and while not interesting it's good in the same way Budweiser is. It's not a rebuy when compared to all the other more interesting blends I'd rather smoke that I can buy for about the same price. Though I think I'll keep the pouch for those special occasions when pipe smoking isn't the thing I'am doing but just a component.
