I have several and they are one of the best values in pipes. Champ smokers, typically very lightweight, and if you look often enough and long enough you can even find some with pretty spectacular grain.

That’s certainly one reason. They’re also a reputable, storied brand and most of their stummels were turned three quarters a century ago, which is a draw for many. They’re also damn good, lightweight smokers that are easy on the eyes.Most folks like the Ropp because it is inexpensive.
