Preferred Pipe Shape

I forgot to add that I recently acquire a couple of Bulldogs and I will be buying more. It is pretty much the same as a Rhodesian and I collect those, so now I have a new shape to collect, lucky me.

Not interested in the collecting value, I just smoke them. Now down to just cobs and commissioned pipes.

Did you see the cob I got from Mike Morgason? Stellar job he does. All very classy, no gimmicks. Fairly priced.

Good looking dogs there....I prefer the darker of the 2. Both nice all the same. It's one shape I have not yet acquired but will at some point

My favorite shape, and pipe is my Peterson House pipe.

My favorite pipe currently is a rusticated Peterson house pipe. Definitely my biggest pipe.

No need to. Just the concept: I find it retrograde. Ditto ForeverStems: the mouthpiece/shank/acents will last longer than the bowl. ?

I've never needed to replace a stock cob stem and my oldest is 15 years old.

I take good care of mine too, but have always considered them semi-disposable pipes, and I don't spend money on adding bling to disposable items. The Reverse Calabash SE is another story, though; now that's one that could use a nice accent and stem.

Cutty, Zulu, Belgique, some Rhod/dogs and classic Dublins...
Anything with a forward cant.
I also admire Horns and Anses, but don't own any.
That said, I have far more Billiards in my collection than any other shape. No less than half of my pipes are some variation of Billiard.

I have Dr, Garbo's ,Metco's and Nordings.
A few churchwarden's
Then I have ones I made,
Odd shaped ,
This is my computer pipe ,sets well on it's own ,and a good smoker
Made from a maple branch in the yard ,

The only pipes I've had to gurgle were straights, that's why 99% of mine are bent.

Between us, we'd be unstoppable! (Assuming of course there is a situation where the solution only calls two guys smoking pipes dryly.)

Most of the time,smoking during the work.
I have a lot of pipes in my collection(more than 400),but those that I am using need to be:
1. Straight
2. Light weght till 45-50gr
3. With fat walls
4. Short
5. 19-32÷34 bawl inside.

So,no metter what I have in my collection for the astitic enjoy, I am smoking small and fat apple/billiard nosewarmers ?
