Thanks Guys. I got it in 2005, a gift from my wife. Gotta love a good woman!. Bentmike, I know what you mean about 4th, this bike is definately geared for the open road, but I still try to find 6th gear every now and then.

I'm not a bike guy anymore, but I do have my fun.... (yes, that's a hog in the back next to my beer cooler)

Added the roof, windshield and 5000lb winch later.

OK, I see this thread popping up too much without jumping in.
Note: I don't have a bike anymore due to a bunch of reasons. Kids, bad crash and horrible Dallas traffic to be the foremost of them. But during the years I had many and here's some pictures representing what I've had. Not my actual bikes (I'd have to go through boxes and scan some old ones for that), but as close as it gets.

1990's (Can't remember the exact year) Kawasaki Zephyr 750. I saw a similar model here States-side but with a single front disk - catalog image

My last commuter bike. A 1996 Suzuki Bandit 1200.. loved that thing ! Strong as a bear, lots of torque. Had the GSX1000 engine with a bit wider bore and shorter stroke. Absolutely loved it. So this would be the bike I'd get again if opportunity arose

You guys make me want to get out my helmets and leathers and go shopping

You guys are killing me with the bike pics. I had to sell mine last summer so we could get a new car to drive the little one around.

My new Suzuki Blvd. Picked it up a couple months ago. 2006, only 7000 miles on it, custom mustang seat, custom rear passenger back rest, custom foot rests and adjustable hand warmers in the handle bars for the winter!

I have a 98 Valkyrie, black with hard bags two tone deco Green offset the chrome with some black, lowered it, don"t know how to post pictures, but for a cruiser it"s bad ass, 6 carbs tweaked it to 135 horses, quiet but deadly the old cajun

6 Carbs! Holy crap, how do you tune all those? I'm too lazy to tune 2.
I always disliked carb tuning, but I REALLY hated it when it came time to adjust the valves. Every time I would tear off the top end of the engine I would wonder what I had gotten myself into!!!!
