Ghost, that's a gnarly stealth. Chuck has been my favorite guitar player since I was a little kid. I have every Death album including the Live in Eindhoven slipsleeve. I seen his nephew got his actual guitar. Hope he takes care of it.
Hey daytonsean, first off...wicked video! I keep eyeing the Schecters, maybe down the road I'll take the plunge
Yeah, I'm a Chuck fan boy. :worship: BC Rich is giving proceeds of the sale of the Stealth to his family, so for me it was a good buy. It hit all my points I was looking for in a guitar too, especially the fixed bridge.
Why wife has played the stealth a few times. I've honestly never picked one up. I have a Schecter Hellraiser that I typically use when I'm writing my gore stuff. I also have a Jackson DXMG for when I feel like riffing to some Necrophagist or some Ron Jarzombek material. I set up a Schecter c-1+ in standard tuning and it's the best playing guitar that I own for classical and clean stuff. My wife plays a lot of Opeth on that guitar.
My band played "Advent" at my guitarist's capstone for her music degree. It was a fun song to learn. I played a half-fretless Fender P-Lyte with the bottom 4 strings of a 5-string on it.
I started playing that setup because we did our own stuff in standard tuning, Slayer stuff in Eb and Venom songs in D. Saved me the trouble of re-tuning and the bulk of a 5-string.
Me too. I love to do melodic stuff on a fretless. The lead singer is a piper, too. Actually, he started smoking pipes before I did. Here's us kickin' it at Deception Pass near Seattle.
Oh yea, Killing Technology is still one of my favorite albums ever. The singer from Watchtower went on to sing for Dangerous Toys, so they were kinda like Voivod just with the over the top vocals. The bassist was great though.
I play a bit but am selling off my Gibson Les Paul Studio. I'll try to figure out how to post pics later. I have a baby coming later this month and need to sell/trade the guitar. It's wine red with gold hardware if anyone is interested, let me know
