Is it possible to darken vulcanite that has already lightened from oxidization? A friend gifted me a pipe and the vulcanite is very light colored. I applied some Obsidian but it hasn't really darkened.

Evenly spread a tiny dot of toothpaste on them and buff it off with your thumb to raise the shine.?Not quite as dramatic, but I used the magic erasure and chapstick method this evening. Not bad for thirty minutes of work.
