Here's a scene from the movie "Fat Man and Little Boy". It is in Robert Oppenheimer's bedroom at Los Alamos. Any one ever see one of these before?.... I mean the tobacco jar, not the woman.
Not a movie but a TV series which was killed by Covid after one season, "Project Blue Book" is the fictionalized story of Dr. J. Allen Hynek and his study of UFOs for the Air Force. Dr. Hynek was an avid pipe smoker and there are numerous pictures of him with his pipe (see below). However, I don't remember a single scene of him in the tv show with a pipe. Correct me if I'm wrong. I suspect the producers thought it would be "politically incorrect". Too bad it has come to that.

My wife and I rented Duke on Vudu last night. We thought it was one of the best movies we have seen in a while.

THE RED-HEADED LEAGUE
Sherlock smoking a small, smooth churchwarden. Note the little knob under the bowl which serves as a holder. With such thin walls and the smooth finish, the sides of the bowl would get as hot as a firecracker. Definitely would not be my choice for a quick smoke.
