That's how we got so many great Van Goghs. I mentioned in part 1 how when I was mining the museums and galleries in Finland there seems to be a different school. More than one artist took self portrait to mean a painting of one's self masturbating. I always wondered from where that movement started. Was there a particular teacher that greatly influenced a bunch of students or was there an art community like Taos, Hudson River or Volendam, etc? It was enough to see the paintings once in my lifetime. I don't think I'll be doing any further research on them. If anyone else is interested, go for it.
