Pipe Length Preference?

I like bent pipes so length is more fluid for me but measuring a few it looks like 5 inches is the average. Otherwise, I don't want a pipe that makes me feel inadequate.

I am not a clencher and so quite happy with my churchwardens and longer shanked canadians.
My Dunhill Extra long shanked canadian is one of my top favourites . Also consider longer pipes as very pleasing to the eye, looking very masculine and providing a somewhat cooler smoke.
Mind you; I do not mind an average lenght pipe too.
Apart from had I never had complains from my girl friends either and if so I would not reveal it on the forums. My wife prefers a churchwarden.

I Prefer 5.8" - 6.5" straight Billiards, usually English. I work from home and smoke my pipes all day while working since I'm also staring at computer screens at the same time I find the length helps keep the smoke from my eyes. I also clinch damn near the whole time and have yet to get a sore jaw from the little bit lengthier pipes.

I have pipes that run the gambit. I have small princes to huge Lee von Erck’s. Even a Weaver that is a 2 hand pipe.

When I am not thinking, I usually grab for a smaller Prince more than anything else. My daily smokers tend to be Savinelli 315s.
