Well, the one thing I will give to the Brits... they do have humor, but it is best in small doses. Too much of it, and you'll dry out your skin and worse, you could darken your urine and can lead to dizziness and fainting. Once, I binged some Brit Box comedy, and had to have an IV for three days. Just sucks the moisture out of ya.

It is possible that the custom of driving on the left dates back to pre-history and may later have been used as an early road safety measure. At a time when the main danger on the roads was mugging, careful travellers would pass on-coming strangers on the left with their sword arm towards the passer-by.
That is probably why left-handed (sword)fighters , like myself, are so much dreaded.

It seems that most of the world agrees with US on which side to drive on. The only places where they drive on the left are countries where the British forced them to... and Japan. Everyone else just uses common sense.
