I’ve been talking to Mark a bit over the last few weeks getting some blocks sent so I can try to carve a few pipes when I make it back home.
I got an email the other day from smokingpipes.com and saw some new Tinsky’s on there. I had no idea that the guy I was talking to was the carver who made those pipes. Turns out I lived just down the road from him for several years. When I finally go back to Alaska, I’ve got to go through the old stomping grounds in Montana and plan to stop in and see him, perhaps buy something in person. Regardless, after all of that I figured I’d pick up one of his offerings and this one really caught my eye:
