While I am still slightly pissed off at SP at their problems regarding the 2023 SPD release I was able to snag a SPD pipe(although rusticated) I have no doubt it will perform as well as my higher priced Petersons.
It may not be numbered as the sandblasted or smooth variations but I have confidence that Ledisi has smoothed out the quality control issues that have plagued Peterson's brand previously .
I have yet to purchase a Peterson pipe that has not not met my expectation of a quality smoking experience.
( Disclaimer) I am a Pete nut and have been since 1978.

I have picked up nine 2023 SPD pipes so far, all rusticated. I'm fond of the rustication despite people comparing it to a beaver's work (I just happen to like beaver). I have an outside job and don't worry about bringing them to work with me, and they look classy. Had to get this one from SP EU, came today. The No. 68 is the shape I wanted with the smooth. Swabbed out the chamber, it looks great, drilled great and is smoking great. Only nitpick, and haven’t had this issue for a couple years, this one was a bleeder, lol. The stain didn’t like getting wet so worked with that a bit and it will sort itself out with a little time. I guess I won’t be able to test it via the warmth of the bowl because I can’t feel any warmth 1/2 way through, lol, so that’s good, I’m not plowing through this Peterson flake - which has benefited from a couple weeks of airing out (if I notice it must really be a thing, haha). The stem is proportionate and less beefy overall and at the bit than the B42 and feels terrific. So, maybe not a home run, but a triple and got home on a left fielder’s error! 6D5AC9EB-1D63-4E34-BA9F-5AEC4DC33026.jpeg
