Ash on my pants. I cannot smoke a pipe, including all the fiddling required, without getting black spots on my pants.

I am so tired of embers falling on whatever shirt I am wearing and burning a hole in the shirt.
I'm not very peevish about pipe smoking. I guess things go wrong now and then, but I block the memory and carry on.
I find occasional gurgle mildly entertaining... am I alone in this?
But to answer the question --
Do you ever wake up in the night needing to pee, and have difficulty deciding whether to embrace the temporary unpleasantness of going to the bathroom in exchange for the longer term pleasantness of sleeping with an empty bladder? You can avoid the temporary unpleasantness of going to the bathroom, but then you struggle to fall back asleep over a full bladder.
Well, that is very much how I feel upon realizing that I packed my bowl too tightly. I sit there dithering about whether to dump and reload, or draw 3x harder to make it work.
That is my peeviest of pipe peeves.

I have just realised I'm a lot easier to please than I'd thought 
I admit I have OCD, so EVERYTHING that goes wrong while smoking a pipe, before smoking a pipe, and after smoking a pipe bothers me. But, I love smoking a pipe so much that OCD can't even stop me...
I hate pipe gurgle. It was funny when I was just starting out but that amusement turned to horror when I slurped up the gurgle culprit. Sucking a burning ember directly onto my uvula also sucked. Those are my only two.
One way I learned how to do a proper load was to test the draw after loading. Not that I don't sometimes forget, but so far it's worked.
I dislike smoking in the wind, but i still do it.
While minor, I suppose, it always bothers me in some small corner of my being when I am sitting with my pipe, smoke curling up to the heavens, and some one comes up and says something to the effect of, "Oh, you smoke a pipe?" Duh! It makes me want to throw it across the room and yell, "How did that get there?" Just old and cranky In guess.
Pipes that always sound like my Bong from college.
Not being able to smoke at work. I work in a fine dining setting, don’t see why a waiter with a cob hanging from his mouth wouldn’t go over well.
Not being able to smoke at home, I think should be the only one of mine.
Snapping an acrylic stem when a pipe so equipped encounters an unforgiving hardwood floor at speed, where the gravitational constant is 9.8 m/s2 [squared], or some damn fool thing.
These are all very first world "problems".

When you stash your pipe in your front shirt pocket and when you pull it out a large part of the tobacco is loose still in the pocket mixing with the stupid lint in there. You gotta smoke it. It builds good cake.
