Anyone else feeling afflicted?

I definitely go through spurts for pipe buying.

Currently have an Il Duca strawberry wood on the way, a briar by Yorgos Mitakidis on the way, and a Todd Bannard coming for me to check out in-hand.

On top of that I have a commission with Ian Walker on the books for late July/Early August.

...and here I've been the last hour going back and forth on a Foundation by Musico AND a Regina Scarlatta.

Yes it's a daily battle of will.

Two Savinellis just arrived today. I can relate all too well, more than you know, which is why I laughed.

Getting into Meers helped cure my PAD. Since a big part of Meers is seeing them color, and coloring A Meer is chiefly related to the frequency they are smoked, it doesn't make sense to me to buy a bunch of Meers. PAD cured!
Oh for sure, I noticed that when I finally got a meer. I started to feel an almost.. duty to be consistent with smoking it.

As much as I enjoyed it too, I couldn't quite fight my briar urges. More power to ya though!

I put a limit of less than $200/pipe on myself and lo and behold I find that I can still get the pipes I want.🤷‍♂️
With so many online retailers offering payment plans, any self-imposed price limits just flap on out the window for me.

In the last 18 months I've missed out on a couple Il Ducas I REALLY liked so I've been jonesing for a Rimensi. When I saw this one on SPC as an unsmoked estate + the 15% off holiday discount, I wasn't going to look the gift horse in the snoot. Admittedly a bit outside my wheelhouse size/shapewise, Max makes a solid case for my favorite stems in the biz.

Il Duca Strawberry wood bent billiard.

Florida is about as hot and muggy as possible right now. But I love it.

I've doubled my collection this year.

I absolutely loved the Savinelli Luisa Fiammata release. I got a smooth 614, and a pair of sandblasted 673s for me and my brother.

I snagged a Ser Jacopo Hawkbill when SP had their 15% off estates sale, and I found an unsmoked Denmark-era gold-crown Stanwell that I couldn't resist. And then I got a few more.

I was done buying pipes, but a member here wanted to part with a Castello Shape 11 Sea Rock that I'm breaking in tomorrow.

I feel like I'm good for a while, and my wallet agrees... until the next one.
