Amazing selection of unique pipes, excellent service, just the courier that sucks.
I'm scared to buy more pipes because it's like tossing the Mona Lisa into the ocean if another pipe goes missing.
What courier did you use?
I've always used DHL when ordering from Antonio (Lepipe) and I get my parcel between 3 and 4 biz days.
The “bad” one has more of a taper on the mouthpiece, which is really the end that should be inserted into the bowl. The minimal taper is likely the reason it couldn’t penetrate.
Also the stain job on this one is a lot more respectable
Bluegrass, why do you want to keep checking him out if he’s never produced anything in your preference range? Wouldn’t it be better to focus on others who have? There are so many; why spend time on Orton?

No typically when I refer to a pipe being "my type" or "in my wheelhouse" I'm mostly referring to its size.
I haven't seen a ton of Brian's pipes but the ones I have seen have been fairly unique - especially the stems. Im a sucker for unique and proprietary type mouthpieces so my curiosity regarding his is about those.
Oh, that’s an interesting component that I had never considered as a main selling point, but I agree he has some cool stems. He seems to be able to do more colorful & unique stems than what I’d perhaps normally be attracted to, but they are tasteful and not disruptive to the overall composition, avoiding things that are too loud/garish.
