I've not had problems with PC. One dinged can of Fire Storm, but several blends I really enjoy -- Fire Storm, Log Cabin, Chestnut. Incomparable prices on Stanwell pipes, and on sale Big Ben pipes. I've heard some complaints, but it has always paid to buy there on sale. Not disagreeing with complaints, just saying that my experiences have been good.
It's taken as long as 12 days from order to receipt to Nevada. That's with the economy free shipping, though.
mrwestminster: the only problem I've had with them is their automatic back-ordering, which might hurt you if you're here for a short time. Happened to me: I placed an order to be delivered to the hotel where I was staying for one week in the US, and when I received it, there was tobacco missing. I called them, and was told that the tobacco was back ordered, and they'd send it to me as soon as it was available. But I didn't have that time, as I was flying back in a few days. If they'd told me beforehand, I'd have bought it elsewhere.
Apart from that, no major issues. But it left a bad taste, and I only order with them either when they have a very good deal, or on tobacco that only they carry.

You know, as I go to P&C and cruise their empty shelves, and look at the deep discounts on already the cheapest priced tobaccos online, I would say that it really looks like they are either trimming way way way down or going out of business. I hope with my whole heart that they aren't going out of business. They are my absolute favorite online retailer. But, if I were a company about to do that, I would hope to empty my shelves as well as they have.

@ kanse - from personal experience, if they have any in stock the computer will not tell you that they do not have enough in stock to fill your order. The only way you find out is when they charge your credit card for only a part of your order. Apparently when they get more in stock they do not fill orders but ration it out amongst those that have it on back order. Placed an order of eight tins of a blend last month and have received two shipments with two tins in each so far.
Ya it's a bit annoying. Ordered 13 black frigate and nine are on back order. I like paying with PayPal as I get no interest or payments for 6 months on purchases over a hundred bucks. But the bill gets split so the offer no longer qualifies for the purchase.
Not a big deal but again, a bit annoying and certainly must increase their shipping costs so would think they would want to implement some sort of system.
Btw the code gave me 25% off today.

I've had good experiences with PC and like Russ' blends. I always resist discounts pegged to a specific total purchase unless I plan to buy at that level anyway. Once I'm asking myself what else to buy to reach the discount goal, unless it's just a few bucks, I back off. Saving money by buying more is backwards, in many cases.
