Decided to explore a few of the Warped products recently. Here are 3 tin openings for y'all.

Cloud Hopper has been on my list for a while. Due to difficulty in shipping to this state with the carrying supplier, i opted for the Cloud Hopper cigars first. Thinking those were decent, i progressed and found my roud-about way of getting it in baccy form. Not disappointed thus far.

The Red Hunt: I've tried this one in a few different pipes with varying results. It seems to taste best in a red Va dedicated meer. There are still a couple other pipes to run this one through before the jury is out.

King's Stride so far has been promising. Will be interesting to see how these all are after a couple weeks of tin opening. My initial take is that it was certainly worth the exploration. I may consider checking out some others in the future as well.

Update. This stuff is fantastic!! Almost has a slight vinegar lite smell. Very tasty. Good smoke. I’ll already miss it when it’s gone.
And that tin is nearly 100 years old? Even at 70 or 80, it never ceases to amaze me that tobacco can (though not always) be eminently smokable at that age.

Is this mixture some kind of Virginia based blend? Any latakia or oriental in it that you know of?

It’s a VaPer. It’s so easy to smoke I'm truly saddened it’ll be gone too soon.

From 2017…sticky residue on inside off the tin. Haven’t seen that before. Inside of tin at ten o’clock in the photo looks like moisture droplets. Very sticky icky.
I've got a single solitary tin of 40th that I imported into the UK a few years back. It's from 2017, as well, and I've heard nothing but great things about it. I'm sure you'll enjoy that🤤

A few weeks ago there was a thread about the newer Escudo Navy Deluxe being packaged differently. I have a few tins from around the turn of the last century, and a few from Oct 2024. I know the AC Peterson from 2000 is presented spread nicely in the circle tin, with the rippled paper.
I opened one from 2024 last week, and im smoking some now.
Wow, it is nothing like 25 years ago.
Where is the dark and tangy fig flavor? And the deep rich tobacco flavor?
Anyways, this tin was presented in the square paper in 2 short rows.

Well, I'm finally getting around to trying out a Bari Senior pickaxe estate that I picked up a few weeks ago, so I decided I'd better start off with a Danish tobacco. Having none open and available to me tonight, I decided to pop a tin of recently purchased 4th Generation 1931 Flake, and boy oh boy, am I ever glad I did!! It tastes absolutely heavenly and is behaving very well in this pipe!
Much has been said about this tobacco already, so I won't go too deep in my attempt to describe it, but the things that really stand out for me are the lovely sweet and lightly aromatic flavor, the smooth, mouth-filling texture of the smoke, and of course the absolutely wonderful tin note. It smelled so good coming out of the tin that I couldn't wait for it to dry out, and I just lightly pulled it into strips, folded and twisted, and stuffed in into the pipe and lit 'er up!
Fully enjoying this flake and I'm super happy with how the pipe smokes and feels in the mouth and hand. The keystones at the bottom are definitely helping me keep from messing up my mouth as I greedily power though this bowl faster than I ought to on account of my enthusiasm for the whole thing.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winning combination!!
