Can't miss the perique.In my quest to go wide before deep, another new blend for me, Cornell & Diehl Bayou Morning Flake. I've had a few Virginia perique blends, but never sure how much influence or flavor I was actually getting from the perique. This blend is 25% perique so I'm hoping to get a better feel for it when it plays a larger part.

After running clean out of my beloved Jewel of St James jarred perique a while back, i've been using the above mentioned Exclusive to add perique to blends for a while. Finally broke down and decided to give C&D's offering a try. It's good stuff, too. Not to mention ez to work with.
