Opening A Tin? Show Us!

Was at the local Tobacco Shop in town yesterday and picked up a pouch of Orlik Golden Sliced. This is a new Tobacco for me. Simon from LCS Briars smokes it quite often and is well aged. This is from 12/2023. Lets see how it is.

C&D Blockade Runner, fresher than a fresh thing. A sweet and salty tang atop the virginias, almost a pleasant bitterness beneath. Certainly makes me think of yachting and a high sea!

I opened a tin of this last Christmas with about 5 years of age on it. The tin was swoll and when I opened it the smell of rum and tobacco was heavenly. I really enjoyed it and i've got one more in the cellar.

Not too sure how I feel about these. I cracked the 1st tin of Spark Plug from 2020 and saw some possible plume? But my concern is that it has a musty odor to the tin. I cracked the 2nd from 2021 and I found "plume" again and again with a musty odor. You guys have any thoughts? Or anyone have the same musty smell with older Spark Plug? It doesn't appear fuzzy, looks more like white-ish crystals, which normally, I wouldn't think twice. But it's the musty smell that has me concerned.
