I would definitely choose Wilke bulk tobaccos. The new owner has expanded the line to 60 blends ranging from heavy lat bombs to fruity aromatics. All are made from top quality leaf and can be customized to fit individual tastes

I would be content with Samuel Gawith. Rattray's and Dunhill are close 2nds, but SG it is
Much the same for me.
May I say, you have very good taste Workman.

It would be important for me that the brand offer quality blends in a variety of genres. Sam Gawith would be up there. GH&C just doesn't do enough with Latakia or offer enough VA and VAPer blends, but I LOVE a few of their offerings. MacBaren might be a sleeper choice, especially if it included blends they made for other brands. H&H makes a lot of great stuff.
With the exception of aromatics, Pease has exemplary blends in just about every genre, though, so that would probably be my choice.

I'm an HU can but their straight Va flakes aren't the absolute best and that is what I smoke the most of. I'd choose K&K because of their great Virginias. SG, GLP and HU not far behind. And Ernie of Watch City warrants consideration.

GL Pease for me. He's the master when it comes to Latakia blends but when I want to switch it up and smoke Virginia-based belends I could rely on Union Square, Sixpence, and Navigator to satisfy the itch.

J.F. Germains, between their own line, the Esoterica line and the Smokers Haven blends, I’d be fine. Since I smoke Margate at least half the time anyway, it wouldn’t be much of a sacrifice.

K&K, no contest. Well, actually, plenty of contest, but that comes to mind first.

I now think I'd go with Pease, as his stable is wider than Germain's or Std. Tobacco of PA, in terms of some non-English blends. English only, a tie between the latter two.

K&K & Co. Two of my three favorite blends come that house. So if I had only one to choose, that would be it.

C&D all the way. I'd be able to scratch the variety is the spice of life itch. Additionally I often find that other blenders haven't been as consistent at pleasing my palate. I might like english blends from one blender while not liking their other blends as much where as for whatever reason C&D doesn't seem to have that effect for me as much. But mainly because I know I'd not get bored anytime soon.
