I got nearly 3/5 of my heart working. Haven't had warm feet in years. And yes, pills are keeping me above dirt and, a pacemaker is trying to keep the heart at it's feeble best. But still, I deprive my system of oxygenated blood. I do so at my peril. It's a choice we all make so bitching about my health is . . . well, simply feeling sorry for myself and dump choices I made back when I knew I was invincible. So, pay no attention. Been dead once and the next time will, most likely, be permanent as I probably won't be in a critical care ward. C'est la vie!

What a great photo/anecdote, but seriously, what the heck is the bamboo pole tucked behind your ear? Worlds longest tamper?
Mortonbriar: Your question about the pic made me wonder.... Here is the same house today taken from Google Earth. My grandfather built it himself in1903. I don't think the pole is still there... We've kind of gotten off topic, let's get back to pipes. puffy

That's a great looking house, 120 years and still standing now that is my kind of craftsmanship! Was he a pipe smoker too? (See how I stayed on pipe topic?)
