But, I don't think the tracking number should be listed as they might reveal the senders identify?

Al, yeah just post in this thread when you've sent yours and when you receive the gift from your SS. if you can, and so desire, feel free to post photos of your presents when you open it up.
I also know my SS fairly well, and look forward to putting his gift together. Did you know that when you mix Middleton's Cherry at a 50:50 ratio with Semois you get this awesome Robitussin-Gym Sock room note?

I could have sworn that last year the person I sent to was the one who sent mine. Oh well, my going out has my name and address on it. /shrug

I don't know how mrgunnar177 has did it last year, but I KNOW I didn't send to the SS that sent to me. Also, I put my return address on it. Since I include a note explaining my choices for the gifts, I figure anyone who is on the forums any appreciable time will be able to figure out who sent it due to sentence structure and word choice. The secret portion of this (in my mind) is what you're getting and from whom. You don't know until it's revealed to you.

Yeah the secret is what's in the package not necessarily who sent it. I mean you can keep it a secret if you want but it's more fun to know who sent it in my mind.

I know getting what you want for Christmas is nice, but as this is supposed to be Secret Santa, listing what you want, and then getting what you're expecting, is kinda defeating the purpose I think.

It should be a surprise. Even though you may get something you don't care for. Isn't that the way it is supposed to work in real life? Just something someone wanted to give you, just because it is the season of giving.

Most of you have enough in your cellars that a little Christmas gift that didn't quite ring your bell isn't going to be a holiday spoiler. Just my thinking.

I'm sure Brian Levine is going to LOVE his Secret Santa present from you, Trailboss! That book will complete the Time Life set he's been looking to complete now that he has, "Wham! Hairspray, torn jeans and melody," in his collection.
PS - I'm with Trailboss on learning what my victim recipient likes... it's important to me that they get a present which is humorous something they'll love. So a little direction goes a long way here.
