Glad you enjoyed it. I've already been using the tamper, in the Comoy I traded with Toby. Hope everyone's Christmas was a wonderful one. Thanks gunner for setting this all up.

My secret Santa is one cool dude. One of my favorite posters on here. I opened my package this morning and found:
A tin of old dark fired, which is awesome and one of my favorites

A tin of plum pudding which is great because I've never tried it before

Some cleaners which I need

Sixpence which I really like, that's a surprise

Hearth and home El Nino which is also new to me
Jason is a standup guy and one of the originals around here, thanks and Merry Christmas to you man!

I open my SS gift from adam12 on Christmas day, but hadn't gott a chance to post about it until now.
I received:

McClelland Frog Morton's Cellar - this was on my short list to try

McClelland Blue MOUNTAIN - which is a favorite. That is still says mountain instead of Balkan is awesome.

McClelland 221b Arcadia - which is one of the best blends in the series and in McClelland's catalog

GLP Fillmore - which looks to be a fine VA/Per that will be opened real soon
He also sent a notebook that I will use to record tasting notes and a bag of pecans. Here's wher it gets interesting. The pecans are native to the town he lives in. The pipe cleaners (BJ Longs) are manufactured in my home town. That we sent something made locally to each other is so funny to me.
Anyway, thanks for the awesome gifts, Charlie! I'm sorry yours didn't make it in time for Christmas.

Ahhh finally got a chance to login and give many thanks to Easterntraveler for my gift. I received four fine blends that I have never tried and am greatly looking forward to giving them all a through tasting and assessment. I think I’ll go with the Oak Alley first then off to the aged Vintage Syrian then a trek to Montgomery for a visit. I will end my journey in the caring hands of the Three Nuns. They may be of a newer breed, but that means they may be more ummmm receptive of my advances. I’ll keep you guys posted.

Thanks again ET and Happy New Years to you and everyone here.

Sorry for my delay in posting. Was a hectic busy Christmas. Huskysibe went above and beyond. He sent me 5 great tins, some of my favorites, and erinmore which I have been wanting to try. He also sent a LARGE bag of plumcake which I am looking forward to dipping into. Thanks a ton!
