Well I have to say that my Santa did a wonderful job. Really above and beyond.
A tin of Leo, which I haven't tried but sounds great; a tin of 965, which I have not had in YEARS; two baggies of a blend called "Aemrican Patriot" from his local B&M that smell amazing and whose descriptions bode very well for me . . .and . . . a really nifty tamper, made of turned Corian with a shell casing for a tip.
Thank you VERY kindly for your thoughtful gift.

Just thought I'd share mine as well; I was too excited to wait... All I can say is that I was overwhelmed by the generosity of my Secret Santa. What a haul!

50g of Fribourg & Treyer Cut VA Plug (Dated 9/8/14)

50g of Wessex Campaign Dark Flake (Dated 9/8/14)

50g of Peterson's Irish Flake

2oz of Park & Lane Red Paramour (Dated 3/2/11)

2oz of Park & Lane Knightsbridge (Dated 3/2/11)
In bulk:

2oz of LJ Peretti #111

2oz of LJ Peretti Cambridge

I'm extremely excited and grateful. I think I'm going to try some Kendal Kentucky or maybe the Red Paramour first; there are just too many to choose from; 14 in all and enough tobacco to probably last me a few months at least. Thank you very much Torque. Happy holidays everyone!

I will post pictures later if I can, but I was completely dumbfounded at the thought and generosity that my ss put in to my gift. I sent out part one of two today! No way it'll match what I received but it's worth a try right?

A big thanks to my Secret Santa, he got blends I have never tried. I smoked some BLB already and despite the ghost of ODF past, it was quite intriguing. I was not put off by the Burley and enjoyed sifting through the flavors. I look forward to smoking more and could see adding some to the cellar. I jarred up the FT as it seemed to be smoke ready. I will approach with caution due to vitamin N but the tin note is darn tempting and I'm curious to see what it's like. :puffy:

Sent mine out as well. A little later than expected but thankful it's on the way. Note to my recipient: Many apologies but I noticed I forgot to add the card when I packed it. DOH!

This morning I'm tippin' my hat to andystewart!
The FVF is a special limited edition for the London Pipe Club and is my first aged tin. Although I'm a bit torn as to whether to open it or not. I've so many good things about aged Virginias, but I may use it as a cornerstone for my cellar as I'm hoping to laydown some Virginia in the new year.
As for the 1792 flake, deadly! This one has been on the to smoke list for a while and it will be my after dinner bowl on Christmas day in France.
Thank you very much Andy and I hope you enjoy your parcel, whomever it may be from.....

200g of Peter Heinrich's Dark Strong
teufelhund, if you don't plan on smoking this immediately I would suggest keeping a close eye on the seal. Those 200g Heinrich tins have the worst seal ever IMO. Looks like it was packaged at the planter's nut factory.
I hope you enjoy the selection. You aren't a newb so I basically used the "shotgun" approach to try and get in something you haven't tried before, hopefully I hit you with a couple of untried blends. Enjoy my friend and happy holidays to you and your family.

Thank you so much to my Secret Santa for my package, which arrived today. I'm delighted! Sixpence and Bald Headed Teacher are numbers 1 & 4 respectively in my 'Most Want To Try' list and aren't available in the UK. I can't wait to try them, but first I need to heighten the experience by reading the reviews! :puffy:

Last year I was one of the last to receive their secret Santa. My postal carrier ended up like that guy in Funny Farm where he would just throw my mail out the window on his drive past my house. He requested a few weeks ago that this year I do not wait for him every day at the mailbox. I may have agreed to his request a bit too hastily as I find my eyes starting to wander out that way around mail time. I may need a pair of handcuffs. Anyone want to trade handcuffs for pipe baccy? :)
