You’re lucky. This hasn’t happened for me yet after 30+ years.

Now moving just past 30 years, mostly all I smoke are Virginia/Orientals and aromatics.

I get the tin note in the smoke and I still smoke cigarettes and cigars because I like how they taste. Each is a completely different experience.

Some one my latakia blends tastes better than they smell. Aeormatics seem to always smell better than they taste.

I'd have to disagree with the heading of this thread. I primarily smoke Virginia's, and I love the smell in the tin, and I love the taste while I'm smoking it, and I love the after taste when I'm finished. They are all very different, but I enjoy each one. For me, one isn't better than the other, just different.

Its true with the majority of flavored tobaccos.Years ago there was a tobacco called Apple. I loved it,and it did taste like apples
