I was shocked to see my Avs get toasted and the Bruins choking, WTF. Bruins end up with 125 points and only lost 12 times all year and then choke to the wildcard Panthers? Avs' played awesome - Krackers played better (and better Goalie) Stanley Cups go to the squad with the hot Goalie.

I was rooting for the Kings to go all the way but they got stomped out, dammit.

Watch out for the Kracken, I'm rooting for them as underdogs. They have a good team and Grubauer has been a beast.

Oilers and GK's is a good match-up, McDavid is clearly the best player in hockey right now but Vegas is just as sharp. McD needs to go to the net instead of dipsy-doodling around everyone on the ice and then passing it off. Drive that damn net, McD! (yeah, I'm old skool')

Leafs? not much to say about them, but someone put the hex on that team for sure. Thye need an exorcist and some serious smudging !

NHL Refs ? They are probably the worst in of all sports, way over the NFL. I really despise when games are steered and solely decided by bad calls or no calls. So inconsistent, it drives me freaking nuts. Four blind mice out there and they can't get it right.

As a Ducks fan, I am just sitting back, relaxing, and waiting for us to get either the 1st overall, 2nd, or 3rd pick in the upcoming draft lottery on Monday. The top four players in this year’s draft would be first overall in any other regular draft year.

Bedard - Better stats than McDavid
Fantilli - Jack Eichel
Leo Carlsson - Kopitar
Michkov - They are saying Ovechkin without the size

Vegas Baby!!!
I don't see Dallas or NJ as a threat (or Florida Kitty-cats) - but I could be wrong.

I'd love to see Kracken vs Oilers and get LV Golden Showers out of the picture. :) I just cant take hockey players wearing glitter uniforms. LOL
You sound like you’re working through a personal issue.

Does glitter remind you of some horrible event from high school in Glee class?

All kidding aside. I love VGK, but the gold uniforms are atrocious and the gold helmets are worse.

BUT I don’t have an Oilers tattoo, so it’s Go Knights Go!!

Connor McDavid is a solid all-around player...he can skate, score, dangle, pass, hit and he back-checks. Plus he's a real team leader. I think every sportscaster in the world would agree with me. Maybe. MacKinnion may be next but way below McDavid.

I think Vegas ditched those shiny gold helmets, those were really nasty. If they ditch the glitter jerseys I might just root for them. I must admit they have quite the performance in their rink, with the light shows and pyro stuff. It's like WWE events !

Now I waiting for a Leaf fan to comment about my past comments/opinions on them. LOL

And for the record, I'm a diehard Sabre fan, being born and raised in Buffalo. If they can get a Goalie and some good D-men they may have a real team...someday. Watch Tage Thompson in years to come, they got a decent scoring team. So feel free to rag on me about them brutal Sabres (worse than the Leafs) . But no glitter shirts and shiny head buckets ....whew!

I was living in fort Lauderdale back when the Florida Panthers got Pavel Bure, the Russian rocket, from Vancouver. I got excited and bought season tickets. But it didn't turn into greatness. The Panthers didn't win squat. Ever. The closest they came was being swept by the Avalanche in the finals one year.

I didn't think they had a chance against the bruins. But now, 2 games up on Toronto, I'm officially back on the bandwagon. I'm serious this time. No more shaving until this is over.

Go Panthers!

Leafs in trouble now.
This is true. Matthews tried to get cute there, trying to pitching wedge the puck to himself over a defender's stick, got his pocket picked, and boom...game-winning goal with the Zamboni streaks still visible on the ice from 1st intermission. If Pat Burns (RIP) were at the helm, #34 would get benched for the following game.

Speaking of pockets getting picked, I enjoyed watching #97 getting separated from the puck by Eichel, and the ensuing 180 foot empty-netter. I hope they can do a better job going forward of staying out of the sin bin.

Blue jackets here. Obviously the big prize is Bedard but the top 4 is absolutely stacked. This was a great year for us to be the walking wounded and grab a top 4 pick. The tragic loss of Michkov’s father combined with the normal KHL drama will be interesting to follow for the next couple of years.
