Lattice meerschaum pipes are my favorite.Just acquired a new IMP lattice bend billiard. Going to use this as a coloring blog. Here it is, unsmoked with Elizabethan Mixture. Going to go on a little walk.View attachment 299193
Mine too, this is my first one but I’ve always had a heart for themLattice meerschaum pipes are my favorite.
I certainly will! Thanks WarrenOne of my favorites. Enjoy the trip!
AgreedLattice meerschaums are the best out there in my opinion!!
I'd like to suggest you try to use the same place and lighting to document the coloring process. Include the back of the same business card for more precise color balancing.I realize that it’s hard to see in these photos
Same here. I have a soft spot for lattice but its definitely not one I would go around town smoking. More of a "quiet night on the patio with a glass of scotch" pipe.I am more of a smooth meer guy myself but damn the curves and lines on that pipe are outstanding.
Thats really interesting. I would say its just from hand oils until I see the shank is coloring too. I am actually really curious as to why that is. I have seen some MM corncobs color up on the bowl as well, brown like tar.
