I'm looking forward to this. I've gotten into the mentality of "what the hell stuff it in there and see if You like it" ..so this box I think will take me having to take a few days off of work to just sit with a note book and a case of matches and pipe cleaners and see what is what..

I will remind all potential Box Passs members that The Box is all about sharing. That is a two-way street. When you read the entire New Box Pass Thread, you will see that folks here have taken this to heart. It is the participants generosity and spirit of sharing that has made this project a success.

It is only when we give that we can appreciate the gifts laid before us.
In fact, I now beleive that The Box is so filled with joy of giving, that it has begun to generate tobbacco blends, all on it's own. Synthesized out of thin air. It's the only way to explain why The Box keeps getting bigger and bigger. Well, that and the kindness of strangers, I guess.

Sorry Werebear. I shouldn't have said that. The Pipe project isn't based on whether you are going to post pics but rather generosity. I let my emotions get the better of me with that comment and it isn't acceptable. So I apologize,
Ok Dan, I am finally fully rule compliant. I have finished reading all 25.1 pages of this thread. I have to say though a bit daunting it is an interesting read and though many of the blends mentioned probably aren't in the box anymore, I am intriuged to look them up and perhaps order some samples for the future based on guys' impressions and descriptions. Please add me to the list. I have already ordered my mylar bags and when they come in will go ahead and bag up my contributions so as to move the box along as fast as possible. A big thanks to Dan for everything you are doing to keep this running smooth.

Although the past discussions of Box contents may indeed be entertaining, if you read the entire Box Pass thread, you should come away with a good understanding that that is not, in fact, why reading the entire damned thing is required. On at least one occasion, I have discussed here in the thread the reasoning behind the requirement, (so you should have read it):
"Yes, if you want to join this thread, you will need to start by reading it in it's entirety, all 20 pages. Why? We've come a long way, but we've only arrived at this relatively peaceful meadow of Nicotiana Rustica through the hard work of (almost) every Box Pass participant, and of every Box Pass Shepherd. The requirement to read the entire thread, an ingenious inspiration of Romeowood, informs the potential Box Pass participant of the myriad pitfalls that await a project such as this, and helps to explain some of the otherwise incomprehensibly odd rules that have been concocted to help keep it on track.
There will be a test, so study up."
