New Box Pass Thread

Not much of the '97 Whole Leaf left. That stuff smells fantastic. The only thing in the box I have actually smoked is the Gaslight and the HH Darkfired that I tried today.

So hows the box going werebear? I packed up a Christmas care pack today for someone and started thinking about what I want to add to the box when my time comes. '97 whole leaf, is that from your blending experiements Woodsroad?

The '97 Latakia is delightful, but no more is available from the seller. I only have about 10 pounds on hand, after that, it's all gone.

No, it was a cave and I was hibernating.

So whoever put the Captain Earle's Private Stock in the box has got some taste because that stuff is fantastic! In the spirit of the box pass, trying new things I belive even though I'm not an aro smoker, I tried a couple aromatics that I have heard good things about on here. Bagpiper's Dream was pretty good and the Molte Dulce brings nasty words to mind when I attempt to describe its horrid taste. All together the Box Pass was a fantastic experience and I would do it again.

What I took out: a little bit of everything, literally. Plus the meerschaum lined briar and one of those perfect sized cobs, btw what model are those?

What I put in: a pipe that will probably need a new stem but the rest is sound and some of Dunhill's Royal Yacht plus what Dan put in for me.

Hey Woods, have you ordered the Turkish/Oriental from that Latakia place?
That sounds intriguing, but I am too new to blending to know how that works.

Yes, it's prilep (or alleged to be Prilep, who really knows what that means, anyways).
Lots of small leaves, harvested by hand, a delight!
An enterprising person could organize a group buy of a variety of wholeleaf...everyone gets 4oz or so....
