New Box Pass Thread

Well I finally got to dive into the box and all I have to say is WOW. This thing is chock full of some choice baccy, not to mention two MM cobs, a GIGI Schuma briar pipe, a tobacco pouch, and some Clean & Cure pipe cleaner. Here is the what I was greeted with as I opened the box:

I then got a chance to sort through the myriad of pouches and put them on the kitchen table. Here is the box in all its glory:

I got a chance to smoke some JF Germain's King Charles this morning. I have yet to try any of the Germain's tobaccos and wanted to see how I liked it. Let me tell you, if you are an English fan and like smoking them for breakfast with a nice cup of Joe, then you need to get some of this. I promise I won't smoke it all. Next up this afternoon, STONEHAVEN. I am highly anticipating this smoke.

Ok I'm down with the rules. Will pm my info in a sec. I've got lots of tasty blends to share when my time comes. I noticed from the pics above that the box had pipes in it. What's up with that? Just trying to get a feel for what to expect and what to set aside to add when my time comes.

Hey what is the average size on these mylar bags that you guys use? I'm going to go ahead and order some.

There have been some very generous Box Pass members who have donated pipes to the cause. Although I like the idea of this, a lot, I'm going to ask that folks refrain from putting anything other than tobacco in, for now. The box is very full, and frankly it needs some lightening before we can make room for pipes. I'm as guilty as the next guy, though. The box left my house packed to the rafters, even though I said that I was going to lighten it.
So, folks that are waiting for the Box: Let's not be shy about consumption. Don't empty it, but please make sure that there is some breathing room in the box when it leaves your care. A healthy turn-over in contents is a good thing.
Shain: The 8x12cm bags will hold up to 2oz of tobacco. The bigger ones will hold more.
