As I said on another post......be careful what you put on a public forum..........

I know nothing about U.S.A. customs......but in Europe forums are watched......why do you think you can't order your favourite Lakeland from a U.K. supplier......a combination of credit card and customs taps on the shoulder....

The few low key suppliers that will export have not had that visit yet.......

You are closing your own doors by discussing them on here in public.....

Maybe admin can do something??????
Ignorance isn’t bliss. Ordering from Estervals for US customers is totally legal. The Cuban Cigars @woodsroad ordered were openly listed on the required manifest. On lots of days, those would have been seized, but no law exists making it a criminal offense to order them. The rest of the shipment would have gone through. Spend your time advising our Eurobros. Maybe the admins can do something about you.

Ever thought it might not be legal to SEND tobacco from Europe?.... Danish pipe shop was one of the biggest exporters..... GQ tobacco sold large quantities.... Now they don't.... along with a lot of others.
So... No... I don't know anything about U.S. customs......but I do know that you have to purchase from somewhere..... and that somewhere is getting smaller.
I will ignore the "keyboard knight" comment..... Once again very rude and not called for.... I was simply pointing out that by putting up threads that included the name of the vendor in Europe you are putting that supply at risk..... No need for insults

If it's not legal then why do places like Estervals ship to the US?

All this depends on the country where the tobacconist is located, rules for fulfilling mail orders do vary, in some countries tobacconists at this point are not allowed to mail tobacco containing merchandise even domestically,to name a few, Spain, Poland and Finland, whereas in some countries it is not forbidden to send aforementioned products all over the world ,regardless of the residence of the recipient

I have a friend that worked for Homeland Security at Newark Airport (as an entomologist). She said customs really doesn’t give a crap about Cuban cigars, so long as it didn’t look like you were going to sell them (bring a few sticks/box vs multiple boxes), or you weren’t being a complete douche.

I’ve brought back Cuban rum and cigars, and ordered cigars a few times, never had an issue. If you are really worried about cigars getting pinched at customs, you could ask them to take the bands off before they ship. The main hubs get tens of thousands of packages every day. Most likely it will slip though. Maybe you’re unlucky. They’re more worried about drugs, animals, and plants than your cigars anyway, probabaly not worth the time to fill out the paperwork.

Not at all true.
Obtaining tobacco other than in a face to face transaction from anywhere in the world is going to become increasingly problematic. Here in the US, after March 27, vape products can no longer be shipped by mail. Nobody need fear posting anything about any presently legal source of pie tobacco, the legislation that would preclude such transactions has already been drafted and just awaits a convenient last minute must pass bill to slide it into. All over the world, the dogooders want to restrict access to tobacco.

I don’t see how agreeing with you that you are ignorant of every relevant legal issue is rude, and your persistence in defending an indefensible position certainly earns the moniker of keyboard knight.

Tobacco can be bought from Germany or EU... just not UK.
