That’s awesome to hear. I used to enjoy his videos. He has a very logical way of thinking, and has great ideas. I like his manner and love for the subject. He’s also not a “show off” which I really like.

I've always enjoyed his video's. I think he does a great job. I don't really watch his video's to learn things to be honest, I do on occasion, but I just enjoy watching them. They're good video's and it's nice to watch someone who really cares about pipes and tobacco discuss our pass time. Hopefully, he is doing ok and returns soon.
I miss his video as well ! I'm 100% sure the Muttonchop will come back with lots of news videos eventually and wish us all

Far be it from me to try to convince anyone to spend time doing something they don't want to do, but Muttonchop's videos weren't just about pipe smoking. I, for one, really enjoyed hearing his stories about his career as a mechanic in the military. I like that he's introspective about his life and that he's willing to put forth the considerable effort it takes to tell a good story, film and edit a video, and then get it uploaded on YouTube for others to enjoy or trash (which is always a risk when you put yourself out there).
I hope he returns, but if he doesn’t, what a body of work and what a legacy to the hobby. No one picking up a pipe for the first time will ever do so again without finding and appreciating his videos.
Agreed, watched pretty much all of them before even lighting my first pipe. He is an asset to the pipe community

? Yeah, kinda! I don’t fault him though, I think it’s just kind of one of those things that’s nice to do, but boring to watch. I never could get into any of them, but I imagine new pipe smokers might would get a lot out of videos like that.
Same here. Even when new though I couldn’t stand the videos. So much fumbling around attempting to fill time. Most of the guys also seemed like they had no plan of what they were going to talk about.
I haven’t watched any of this guys vids... maybe they are better, I don’t know.
The bottom line for me when I started 53 yrs ago was Trial & Error and that holds true today.
When I started to smoke pipes, fairly recently, he was one of the youtubers that I learned alot from. I hope he and his family are ok.
