The trouble with Twitter is how to make the thing generate revenue. The current model doesn't work. It is all very well having tons of people sending out tweets but if there is no 'affinity' marketing then the whole thing is at best revenue neutral. If you look at our home galaxy we have a massive universe to post in courtesy of Kevin but it has paid advertising from tobacco and pipe sellers. They pay Kevin a few coins since as we blunder through the place we buy things from the advertisers. As a public company PM would make more sense than twitter since the twitter crew has yet to find a way of monetizing all the loons who post on its platform - you cannot monetize grievances! Musk is a clever businessman, granted he is strange but I suspect he has a few ideas up his sleeve but we will have to wait and see.
