Some of you might enjoy this short animated video I made to promote a book edited by my friend, Kevin Avery, called Conversations with Clint: Paul Nelson’s Lost Interviews with Clint Eastwood, 1979–1983. My late friend, Wayne Koehler, did the music. Paul Nelson, of Bob Dylan fame (Paul was one of the only critics to defend Dylan going electric at the Newport Folk Festival), was a very good friend of mine. I did the illustrations of Paul and Clint for the book cover.

 
I'm an Eastwood fan too, but I always think of it as just him at different stages of his life, instead of the character. When I see his movies, I don't see beyond the actor, just the actor. But, I still love his movies.
Tom Hanks is another one like that. I love his movies, but he is always just Tom Hanks. Jack Nicholson is another like that. Actors just playing themselves.
