Solani Silver Flake. Not like anything else, imo. If anyone knows of any similar blends please recommend them to me.

A recent thread by @Etipton had people mentioning things like warming up to a tobacco, never finding a tobacco that they loved from the get-go, loving the first smoke but getting bored later on, etc.

What about tobaccos you loved at first smoke, and that immediately became a daily smoke?

Having tried ~25 tobaccos, only Luxury Navy Flake has been like this for me. The deep, wheat toasty flavor of this VaPer won me over immediately.
In mostly no particular order:
Robert Lewis Orcilla Mixture
Robert Lewis Wingfield Mixture
Early Morning Pipe
Briar Fox
HH Burley Flake
Presbyterian
Merde de Cheval
These all got immediate re-orders of a base amount (4-6) to keep on hand as part of my regular rotation. Any of them could be daily smokes but I'm still trying lots of variety and have found having too many open at a time allows some to fade more quickly than I can get to them to enjoy.

While most of them were wonderful in multiple pipes, most (but not all yet) received a pipe dedicated to that blend. Often because it was the best with which that particular pipe had performed with.

Since I like having multiple pipes, and still have a dozen or so to get to smoking, most of these blends, and likely a few others, will ultimately get a dedicated pipe. (Still have 66 blends new to me that I've purchased to try.)

And Carter Hall is my "baseline" blend. When I'm having palate fatigue or can't get the right combo going on any particular day / evening, I go to Carter Hall, often in a Meer, and reset the 'baccy baseline. I'll sometimes start a new (or new to me) pipe with it as well since the blend is basic and I (think) I can learn nuances about the pipe by doing so.

The ones that come into my mind immediately are:

1) Drew Estate Gatsby Luxury Flake
2) Ashton Gold Rush
3) Mac Baren Vanilla Roll Cake
4) PS LBF
5) Dunhill Aperitif

And three of the five are still in production! Hallelujah! ?

There have been plenty of blends that I liked just fine on the first smoke, and a ton that grew on me, but the only ones that I took one puff of and thought "if this was the only pipe tobacco in the world, I'd still be very satisfied" are:

KBV Burley Morning Pipe
MacBaren HH Burley Flake
Watch City Rouxgaroux
