For those of you who are looking at spotless tins, thinking, "It looks perfect, no rust, no stains, should be good to keep." Let me illustrate why this in no guarantee. These are picts I took this morning of a tin of Haddo's, dated January 17th 2002. There is no staining no the label:
There is no rust visible on the bottom:

The tobacco was ruined, dried out and foul tasting. BTW, it didn't give that dry sound when shaken. So, buyers and sellers be informed. And for those of you who are cellaring these tins, consider what you want to do.
