Absolutely. It does often come across more like a choice then something that is genuine and organic. Not always but so much of the time. And also if the stuff is good enough for Looney Tunes it's good enough for me.Societal pressure. There's a couple millennia of music from around the world to choose from. If a person can't find anything fascinating in all that, it says more about that person, than about the music.
and if they listen to ride of the Valkyries they might end up thinking it's intermission time (I wonder who will get that joke). Alright I'll go for a more populist variation they might kill the rabbit.Someone could possibly work out to Wagner, but you'd have to be careful. If you get carried away, you might end up taking over Poland.
Commies hate Wagner. I'm not too crazy about him either.
Hmmmm. It certainly had an effect on the droogies in Clockwork.
I took care of my friend's grandfather for a year while his family was on sabbatical. He was an American who was a spy during WW2 in the Nazi sub pens. The entire time I was there, he listened to Wagner operas. I hated it for a while but in the end I got a taste for the style and a totally want to hear the whole ring cycle.Someone could possibly work out to Wagner, but you'd have to be careful. I am just less familiar with any styles of music which are decidedly short hair by definition... Seeing that Kid 'n' Play, Bach, Rick James, Little Richard, Raven, Opeth, Burning Spear, Crystal Gayle and Weird Al Yankovic could all be accurately be considered "Long Hair Music", this seems to be a pretty broad classification. I think that unless you exclusively listen to Sinead O'connor, Moby and The Business, it is safe to say that whatever you listen to may well be described accurately as "Long Hair Music."Funny that most here are not familiar with “long hair “ music. The classical musicians had long hair traditionally.
It's just an old saying, bro. Call it what you like.I am just less familiar with any styles of music which are decidedly short hair by definition... Forgot about the Rossini! Those damned magpies!
Don't let this one fool you too.True story... I was really getting into Heart and Joan Jett, but I wasn't really a metalhead, so to speak. But, I was in the record store when they were putting out records of this new band I had never heard of, Motley Cru. I saw the poster and thought, 'wow, those are some sexy dressed rocker girls. So, I bought the album and took it home, and listened to it, still thinking they were girls. I mean, they looked and sounded like girls. But, man, they were the most blasphemous girls I had ever heard of, outrageous. I kinda respected that... till I found out that they were crossdressers... then it was just weird to me, and I gave the album away.
