In addition to the growing interest and use of pipes I also enjoy:
-Collecting and using fountain pens. They have the same ability as pipes to slow life down just enough and return you to the basics of thought and words

-Love to travel, mostly to the European continent but expanding the horizons as of late

-Reading is also a favorite, mostly geopolitics and government such as Churchill, John Quincy Adams, John Lewis Gaddis, Fareed Zakaria, and FDRs ways

-In music I enjoy the classics, classic rock, and especially jazz and some blues, most specifically of late Melody Gardot, Diana Krall, Patricia Barber

-Researching World War II and Cold War history, especially that of resistance groups, the OSS and SOE

-30s and 40s era - movie genre, Clippers, radios, music, etc.
Best and respect to all,

M.

Ok, I'll play.
-My #1 passion in life is my horse and training/riding. I only do trail riding these days and love to take him camping, but back in the day I was an advanced and ever expanding student of the disciplines of Dressage, Jumping, Reining and the flat Pleasure division classes. Now that I'm "older", I have my very first Tennessee Walker, and let me tell you the smooth-as-glass traveling gaits are nothing to shake a stick at. 8)
-Camping with or without the horse, as mentioned above
-I've played piano since the age of 9, but life has gotten in the way so that it has been on/off here and there for the last 10 years. I'm in the process of getting my piano moved into my new house so that I can play at will.
-I've played the flute since age 11 and still enjoy getting it out here and there.
-Motorcycles. I ride my own, and love it.
-Bicycling is another hobby that I really enjoy.
-Hiking
-Boating
That's all that comes to mind, but there are others I'm sure.

I used to play the piano, trumpet, guitar, bass guitar, and DJ with turntables, but I've lost the passion I had for music. I really enjoy classical though.
I love fishing, I also am big into fish keeping. I also love animals, I have a dog, cat, 2 fish tanks, a chameleon, a gecko, and a ball python, plus I breed insects for food for my reptiles (crickets and mealworms). I like to cook on occasion, and gaming. But really I'm too busy and tired from working constantly to sit back and enjoy hobbies lately. My pipe hobby is my most active one at the moment. I also am big into the traditional latin Mass and prayer.
Add arguing with liberal minded folk about religion and politics to that, especially anonymously on the internet. I love to troll white nationalists and neo-nazi types on internet forums. I'm at a level of trolling it's borderline internet terrorism from the results I get from it, alot of them think I'm a paid internet troll that works for the Israeli government, only I just do it for the lolz. I stay good on this board though surprisingly and keep it to pipes.

Downhill skiing,

Hiking with my dog,

Woodworking, canbinet making and log funiture.
When my first wife threw me out I decided to start skiing, I eventually became dam good, I've skied many, many double blacks, and even worked 10 years as a ski instructor.
When my last wife threw me out I decided to take up a hobby, woodworking. Now most of my furniture is hand made and I branched out into log furnitue.
I've had other things like biking, both pedal and motercyle, scuba, backpaking in the Rockies, etc. but most are memories now.

Me, too. My wife and I live just outside Washington, D.C. and we're very lucky to have several options in that direction. Our parish has a missa cantata every Sunday - everything from chant to Palestrina to Dutilleux when the schola's feeling froggy...
What part of the world are you in?

Playing guitar

Writing poetry

Writing novels

Sailboating/canoeing

Fishing when I can

Been diving into Graphology a bit lately

Studying theology

And perhaps one of my favorite hobbies would be

Studying/learning foreign languages (Spanish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, and Italian)

It's my goal to one day be fluent in all of those, so far the closest I've got is Spanish. But when I move to Mexico for a year I'm sure it will improve.

I know I've posted somewhere in this thread before, but I'm working on another guitar right now. I've been putting this one off for literally a few years, so it's exciting to be in the home stretch...Picture is of the wet-sanding last weekend.
