In it, I can fit my Peterson army mount tankard, in two pieces, a small baggie of tobacco, a few cleaners bent in half, a pipe nail and lighter. I usually secure it with a fat, blue rubber band like they put on the broccoli bundles in the grocery.
For pipe club and overnight adventures, I have an old portable CD player bag I got for a whopping $3 at the thrift store. It perfectly stores 2 or 3 pipes, 2 or 3 blends, all of the associated accessories, as well as a spot for a kindle or paperback book.
