I, too, do most of my smoking at home, but occasionally need a mobile set up.

For the quick and sleazy runs, I use a simple Decatur Plaid roll up pouch.

In it, I can fit my Peterson army mount tankard, in two pieces, a small baggie of tobacco, a few cleaners bent in half, a pipe nail and lighter. I usually secure it with a fat, blue rubber band like they put on the broccoli bundles in the grocery.

For pipe club and overnight adventures, I have an old portable CD player bag I got for a whopping $3 at the thrift store. It perfectly stores 2 or 3 pipes, 2 or 3 blends, all of the associated accessories, as well as a spot for a kindle or paperback book.

I recently acquired fishnbanjo's fancy leather pipe roll but haven't figured out its proper role in my smoking itinerary. It is made by Sorringowl.

Somewhere in this vast universe
Back in the early '70s I got a belt pouch kit from Tandy Leather. Just a simple rectangle about 3" wide, 1 1/2" deep, 6" or 7" long. No hardware, the back piece just came over the top and reached the bottom of the pouch. a simple leather thong to to hold the flap down.
All I had to do was lace it together.
I've found nothing like it anywhere recently.
Tandy is still in business! Of course they no longer have that pouch.
You could buy the leather and cut one.

I have a La Rocca pipe pouch that holds everthing that I need and an ounce of tobacco. Fits right in my pocket. I have had it for 3 years now. Worth every bit of the $35 I paid for it.

This seems to go well with Carter Hall, Bluegrass music and a country life style.

2 clean pipes every day, several tobaccos. Whatever tobacco I decide to smoke, I set a few pinches out to dry as the day goes on.
