It was a good show. I used to have a hard time watching a cartoon as an adult. That one, the Simpsons, etc... But, Mike Judge did the series "Tales from the Tour Bus," that was fantastic. He started off trying to make a series about some of the most heinous criminals in Rap music, but found out that rap was full of artists who just act like criminals. Country music was where the real criminals were. Check it out of you're a fan of music. Funny stuff.

The Johnny Paycheck episode is hilarious!
George Jones was hilarious also. How can a guy who made so many hits have gotten so much wrong. The moment he finished recording "He Stopped Loving Her Today," he turned to his producer and said, "Good luck selling that morbid piece of sh!t." Ha ha, it is his greatest hit. And, I had no idea that he went crazy and thought he was a duck for years. That was also weird.

Unexpected thread here, I'm a huge KOTH fan, particularly the first 7 ish seasons, I found them funnier. I have the first 6 on DVD but as far as I know they never released any more. Are they on a streaming source of any kind?
The DVDs are on Amazon. The first six seasons are under $20 CAD; 7th and onward are over $45 CAD. ?

I'm still waiting for the highly anticipated animated series, "Pipe Smokers Forum" to finally have a show that checks all my political boxes.
I'm game for that. Already have the cartoonish avatar, but I wonder how much the other members would take to their caricaturisation and presentation on the screen. ? ?

I sometimes wonder if I am the only person in the world that has never owned a DVD player. I've got like 6 VHS players in the attic, but I've never even owned a DVD player.
It's ok, DVDs are outdated now anyway. The VHS stuff is antiquated enough to be slightly appreciating in value though. I have some VHS tapes that are almost worth money now, like the original Star Wars trilogy, some of the Star Treks, and a bunch of old Disney.

I've always wondered how truly it reflects life in Texas. ?

Oh, and were there any pipes in the show? I can't remember off the top of my head now.

i lived in TX for a few years. I didn't fully understand the show until I had lived there for a few years. You don't either. There's stuff in it that only someone who lives in TX can really understand.
