That sums up the fact that SPC, Savinelli, 90% of Mac Baren and many smaller house blenders / brands such as mixture 79 are all, soon to be, massacred (Unless cornel and Diehl or someone saves these houses). The "golden age of pipe tobacco" is officially over, entering into the dark ages and sadly doesn't seem like an exaggeration. This transition is not a slow and gradual one, but a nuclear bomb to the hobby. What a shit show.

thats quite accurate. We’re talking about literally hundreds of blends simply ceasing to exist, and of those blends a lot will be considered high quality must try blends. War Horse and Plum Pudding for example. The next generation of pipe smokers, if there is one after this, will definitely be missing out.

This is an email ive gotten by one of the macb employees after asking which of JA's offerings are made by macb.
