I'm in the same boat. I only tried it a couple of days ago but absolutely loved it.
P.S. If you do find anything similar to Old Dark Fired please let us know! I'm sure as time goes on there will be a lot of threads of folks asking for recommendations to their now gone favorites.

I’d love to hear from some of the big B&M’s about their situation after these closures, etc. Country Squire, Boswell’s, and LJ Peretti have great alternatives to these tobaccos so long as they weren’t reliant on Sutliff for their blending materials…

The MB factory will eventually be closed and production of whatever will move to STG’s Assholes plant.

As has been pointed out, actual leaf comes from brokers, so smaller blenders with skills will buy leaf and do their own processing.

Also keep in mind that while STG may be a black hole for pipe tobacco blends there are other sources of quality tobacco still being imported into the US.
