Thanks, Newbroom. I have to say my enjoyment of pipe smoking has most certainly been enhanced by the sociability you noted. In all the years I have been a pipe smoker, I believe I enjoy it more now than any other time in my life. All you folks are partly responsible for that, which means a lot to me, especially on my yearly pipe smoking anniversary, because I can share the celebration of my important day with friends.

Jim gave me a sample of Edward G. at the TAPS show three years ago and it is excellent, a fine old Americana tobacco-forward aromatic, an all-day smoke with character. I have a tin at the ready, aging to perfection.
