H&H's LJ Heart Burley, another of my go-to blends by Russ Ouelette.

Two different types of nutty Burley laced with an unusual cube cut Virginia and a Burley based natural toasted Black Cavendish for non-flavored sweetness.

Hmmm... must not be my day: another flop here with an otherwise reliable blend. I must be having one of those bad chemistry days.

Nothing seems to please. I think I'll take a nap.

With palate readjusted, it was a delightful bowl of the Prince for breakfast, and GL Pease's Cumberland for a mid-morning smoke (and oh, so good!).

Hmmm... I must be the only one smoking today. It was McClelland's 5100 Virginia Red Cake after lunch; and just now, Two Friends' Redwood, a Vaper with red and stoved red Va., with the addition of a Cavendish of some kind. Pretty good.

Tonight some Dan Blue Note in my Grand Duke.

I don't know what it was but the flavor really came through.

I think I'm getting more relaxed about smoking and less worried about keeping it lie and the mechanics of it all. Very enjoyable.

I happen to be at home this morning trying to get some paper work done before I head out to finish a job. My first pipe was Mac Baren Va#1 in a Carey apple w/ coffee, now a bowl of Lanes RLP6. Happy Puffing today everyone.
