Where are the PICS!?
C'mon gents, show off those new pieces. IPSD comes but once a year!

The object of my earlier schmielbloch....an hour early for the IPSD sale but still in for the theme. I own two other Yeti's.....but they are somewhat off-the-usual for the maker. Lot of respect for Micah's skills but not usually a guy I chase.....but I saw this and in my minds eye it's exactly what I would picture for a Yeti. Kinda Danish, contrast stain, bakelite stem, brass accent....not my usual but to me an attractive piece (the stem here is more red in the pic with sunlight right on than in standard light).

I like to have at least one...to me...'prototypical style' piece for a carver. Give this fellow a whirl with some WC DCC this weekend.

Thanks ofafeather. I'm pretty happy with it in-person, I expect it to be an A+ smoker but will give it a whirl and prove out. I went through my four stages of pipe buying on this for sure:

7pm
"Mmm...good carver, not my style though".

8:30pm
"Not my style, but interesting"

10pm
"You know, maybe if that pipe hangs around for a while I'll have to think about it"

3:30am
*wake up* "I'ma' buy that damn pipe right now"

Got my first Castello from the SP.EU site. Pretty much the definition of entry level, a KK Sea Rock, but Ive been wanting a Sea Rock and dig the shape. Now Castello will be off my list of makers to try! Below that is the craggedy-assed Ashton Pebble Grain I bought as an early IPSD present (my way of saying I paid full price rather than wait 10 days), that is currently somewhere in the USPS system.

As with my previous experiences, ordering from SP.EU is a great experience.

I like the way he uses plateau. It has kind of a fine, but very sharp look to the little teeth. I first noticed it on one that was.put up on SP recently, but yours is a very fine example. Great stem, too.
