You're in luck - I'm willing to trade that wonderful tapered stem to you for an equivalent p-lip stem. Mine is a Jameson's stem.
Here are the pieces I'm working with to complete that pipe. The silver band needs to be smoothed out in areas, the rim is going to have to be topped, there is a bad crack in the shank and I will need to have a tenon added to the stem. Other than that, it's MINT. (As-is, it's only NEAR MINT).
(I've left out the smooth 'j' stem because I'm considered it traded to you - take your time, I can wait up to twenty years to complete the trade, at which time I'll be dead, but your name will be in my will.)
I bought a fantastic straight-grain Micoli from him and was very happy with it - his photos were awful. The price was exorbitant, but I really like Micoli pipes, and you could clearly see how wonderful the grain would be.

It's crazy, but true. I've had a collectibles business for 25+ years, and every now and then get a high-roller collector who ONLY buys from me. I had a customer twenty years ago who would call and tell me what he wanted, I'd go find it, and he'd buy it. He wouldn't even consider any sellers other than me. I've only been doing pipes for five years, so that no longer happens, but the pipe power sellers are enjoying such things. Even today I can match up antique sports collectibles with certain customers and do 'unfairly' well just because of our history together.
My favourite seller; I believe Rodrigo now sort of cleans his pipes.

They are all structurally nice, all smoked equally. I haven't scraped any chambers, but they are nasty.

I think I’ve bought one pipe from him over the years.
He always has nice stuff, but those pictures… yeeeugh! And the minimal descriptions are… minimal.

Rodrigo had been at it longer than those other guys. His customers trust him implicitly. I've bought several from him, with zero issues.
I was looking at his listings this morning and it looks to me like he may have upgraded his camera- the pics look more clean and crisp than I remember.
The high-contrast, stark white background is a love/hate thing, I think. There have been listings in the past where I felt I just couldn’t see the details that I wanted to see.
Rod has always been quick to answer questions though- he’s definitely one of the “good guys”.
It's a very strange pipe - the one with the swirly lighter-colored shank piece.
