Pictures can be treacherous. It does look stained in the chamber walls, which would have been practically unheard of, but I also see what may be the jig marks at about 4 o'clock.

It's likely unsmoked, but not mint, as the pipe suffered a nasty fall. The pipe looks early, 1930's early, but if the box were original, using the inner label under the lid it would be possible to date the pipe to roughly a 5 year period.

Man I hate these ones that don’t show up on my saved searches. I wonder what’s up with them not showing up. I’d be pretty sour if I was the seller.

I whiffed on this one. I think it might have once belonged to a NYC forum member who passed in 2018. He first shared it here, perhaps in 2015.

One of many ‘bargains’ from that seller.
Alas, my buying days are over. Hopefully a couple of forum members got in on the action. Some lovely old Parker’s, Ben Wade & Charles Mass were all up for grabs.

Wow, I wish I had known about these when they were running! I would've loved a shot at that Charles Maas and the Savinelli Nonpareil.

Sweet :) Despite the briar being somewhat bland and the fill.

At least one that I know of did. ;)
Good Show!👍
To be fair, as soon as I saw it, I said to myself, say’s I, I know who’s having that one! Lol
just waiting to hear if the dodgy cap wearing kiwi got the CM?
To be clear, not saying the kiwi’s dodgy……but the way he sports his cap, raises suspicion. @Ahi Ka no offence! Goes without saying, of course.

Not me. I had a bid on the BW as I have a case which would have fit it perfectly. Speaking of me cap, I did something I swore I wouldn’t do. I wore it backwards when I had to work a job on Friday. Worked well to keep my hair off my face while using the knife.

Maas No Más!
Thought they were your favourite?
Don't know what to say about your cap variations. I'm of the opinion that if a man's hair is getting in the way of things, then it needs cutting.
That's old age talking though. I had long hair in the late 80's, tied back in a ponytail. As I recall around the same time, all the boys down under were sporting mullets. Perhaps you should be considering a mullet instead of another pipe?
