I think of mso489 as kind of like the mayor of the forum.
I'll join in, I too like mso's thoughtful and gentle posts.
How many hundreds of pipe smokers has mso489 helped, encouraged, and mentored through the years. He was here when i joined the fray nearly six years ago. Always quick with kindness, knowledge, and patience when MSO has something to say (which is nearly always) I will most certainly be reading. A gentleman, a laugh, and a smile.
So that's what the white smoke is when they choose a new Pope!!

I too find these uplifting sentiments indisputable. Mso489 is a much appreciated cornerstone of this community, which even as a casual forum observer, I took notice of. Of course, once again I get to posts almost last which is why I often abstain. I'd like to share my thanks for your posts and musings Mso489 and to give warm regards to Sparrowhawk for paving the way for this opportunity to chime in with our gratitude. This positive tone reverberates throughout much of the forums which is what finally made me jump on board.
