Dixieland
GH Rum Flake
GH Coconut Twist
Prince Albert
Carter Hall
D&R Picayune
Carter Hall
Sir Walter Raleigh

I mostly would just need blends alternating from mild to strong. Any seven would do as long as they taste good.

* if I could do 8 I'd throw in an English, for an occasional change of pace. If I could only have 7, I'd live without it.

Hmmmm...Klondike Gold. I haven't smoked that in a while. Time to open a tin.
Jesse, I grabbed my biggest Ruthenberg a group 6 or ODA and filled it with Klondike Gold. It took a little more than 3 full flakes and it tastes great. This is the second time I tried this and the first time went great, never got boring, just smooth and tasty all the way down.

I thought it was you. ?
Seriously, I used to wonder where the “tons” of tinned McClelland flakes ended up- now sometimes it seems people bought them and smoked little but stashed them away instead.

I've done my fair share to make a dent in what was available. LOL But I'm sure that is miniscule compared to what has been sold. When I looked at people's top 7, I just didn't see those top Va Flakes listed very often.

Escudo Navy Rolls
Kramers Father Dempsey
Presbyterian Mixture
Spc Plum Pudding (or reserve)
GLP quiet nights
Sutliff Walnut Match
Peterson Gold

No particular order:
1. Arango Balkan Supreme
2. Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake
3. Cornell & Diehl Billy Budd
4. Erinmore Flake
5. Peterson’s Irish Flake
6. Daughters & Ryan Rimboche (either Saint James or Acadian)
7. G. L. Pease Quiet Nights

Ask me tomorrow, and I’ll give you a different seven. ?
Billy Budd is so good, as is the LNF. I also love the bullseye rounds from Stokkebye.

I'm not done with it, but after doing some thinking I'm getting close

  1. DFK: MacBaren Old Dark Fired (haven't tried GLP Jackknife Plug)
  2. Lakeland: 1792 Flake (Conniston Cut Plug a close second)
  3. VaPer: - (still haven't tried loads, got Director's Cut and StJames Flake to try next; DLNR, StBernard Flake, and Solani 633 would do me for a long time, but I need more oomph)
  4. Balkan/English: - (waiting to try White Knight and Sassieni, but Nightcap would do)
  5. Flavoured: any tobacco-forward
  6. Gawith rope: Sweet Rum Twist
  7. wild card to keep things interesting
